Macro and micronutrients by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectroscopy
Macro and micronutrients by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectroscopy
Inductively Coupled Plasma–Optical Emission Spectrometer (ICP-OES) is used to determine macro and micronutrients in plant samples. Plant samples are digested using acid prior to analysis. The following analytes have been determined through this method: Al, Ca, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Mo, P, K, Na, S, and Zn.
Note: To determine macro and micronutrients, the sample weight required is at least 4 g of plant or grain sample.
